Joe is a redeemed sinner and saved by grace. He is a fan of baseball, basketball and is new to football. The loves of his life are his wife Jenny and his two sons Marcos and Alejandro. His passion and call are to preach and teach the good news of Jesus Christ. He is a skillful counselor and spiritual care giver. Joe graduated from Nyack College (Puerto Rico campus) with a Master in Divinity (M.Div.). He also graduated from Turabo University with a Master in Psychology, concentrating in Counseling Psychology. He serves as a Chaplain in the United States Air Force Reserves and for the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department. He writes a weekly newsletter, preaches every Sunday and leads one-on-one Bible studies. He likes to sing and make a joyful noise with his guitar.
Laura and her husband, Dan, have been married almost 30 years. She has two children: Her work background has been in the administrative and photography fields. Laura enjoys being with her family, photography, gardening, and helping others. Her favorite Bible verse is “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength’. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
